Job Description: 

We are looking for an Account Manager to work out of our New York office managing a few of our top brand / clients. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the client relationship and working with our internal support departments and field team to ensure we execute our deliverables of merchandising and stock support.  This individual will be coordinating the execution of client expectations, training documents, and talent selections.  The Account Manager is accountable for strategic business decisions to foster successful visual merchandising initiatives at retail for top sportswear and lifestyle brands.   

 

 

Job Requirements

Experience Requirements: 

  • 5-7 years of retail, wholesale or branded apparel experience
  • BA/BS Degree
  • High level Client Service
  • Retail Program and/or Training Program Development
  • Management of a large field organization
  • Previous work leading a Retail Coordinator organization as a Regional Manager (Previous Retail coordinator experience, a plus)
  • Retail Merchandising and Field Merchandising experience preferred
  • Budget Management, Retail Math and Business Analysis
  • Brand or Business Building results

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to modify the existing visual merchandising layout and change direction if needed
  • Expert on Merchandising concepts and translating onto the retail floor
  • Ability to assess execution of client directives and standards and store adaptations 

Problem Solving and Decision Making: 

  • Must be solution-oriented, with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • Provide merchandising direction and address on-floor issues daily with MCs
  • Review Daily Service schedules to ensure staffing is complete and on target
  • Ensure Travel budget is executed efficiently in cost and timing
